Revive your energy with a detox cleanse!
After months of hibernating under layers of blankets and living off raclette, it's time to open the windows, let your home breathe, and most importantly, let your body breathe! Spring is the season of renewal, when nature slowly awakens. It's also the perfect time to rid your body of toxins accumulated during winter and regain all your energy.

Why a spring detox?
Winter often puts a strain on our immune system with heavier meals and reduced physical activity (thanks, Netflix). The result: toxins accumulate and can cause fatigue, dull skin, capricious digestion, and even a few extra pounds. A spring detox helps support the organs responsible for waste elimination — the liver, kidneys, intestines, and skin — to get back on track!
How to prepare your detox cure?
To start, adopt a lighter diet rich in fiber. Say goodbye to processed foods and hello to fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade juices, and beneficial infusions. A glass of warm water with lemon in the morning can also work wonders by stimulating the liver upon waking.

Targeting key organs
Is your liver feeling sluggish? A dandelion and rosemary cure can help it degrease a little after all the winter excesses. Are your kidneys begging you to lighten the load? Nettle is there for that. And for the skin, consider burdock root or wild pansy herb decoctions, perfect for a radiant, filter-free complexion.
The special spring detox herbal tea
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp dandelion leaves (promotes toxin elimination and supports liver and kidney function)
- 2 tbsp blackcurrant leaves (helps drain waste and supports kidney function)
- 1 tsp matricaria chamomile flowers (soothing for the digestive system and promotes toxin elimination)
- 2 tbsp nettle leaves (rich in minerals, stimulates detoxification and kidney elimination)
- 1 tsp wild pansy (improves skin health, depurative and anti-inflammatory)
- 1 tsp rosemary (stimulates liver function and improves circulation)
Method:
- Infuse 1 tbsp of the mixture in a cup of water for 10-15 minutes.
- Drink 3 times a day for 21 days, after meals, to promote detoxification of the liver, kidneys, and skin, and remineralize the body.
This herbal tea is ideal to accompany a change of season and help your body get rid of accumulated toxins.
Don't neglect physical activity!
Walk, garden, stretch… Moving helps activate circulation, drain toxins, and chase away that famous "spring fatigue." Even a simple walk in the sun can boost your mood and your vitamin D levels.

One last tip before you start
Take it easy! The idea is to purify, not to end up exhausted like after a marathon. So, let yourself be guided by the rhythms of nature and take advantage of this period to recharge your energy. After all, spring only lasts three months, so make the most of it!
