  • Your heart deserves a natural, holistic, and consistent approach

Cardiovascular balance is at the heart of our vitality. Chronic stress, an unbalanced diet, lack of physical activity — all factors that can weaken our balance over time.

Our Tension Douce Herbal Tea combines seven complementary medicinal plants, carefully selected for their synergistic action on cardiovascular well-being.

Hawthorn flowers and fruits (Crataegus monogyna): A true ally for the heart in traditional phytotherapy, hawthorn has been recognized for centuries for its action on the cardiovascular system. It helps support heart rhythm, promote vascular relaxation, and relieve vascular spasms. Its flavonoids, procyanidins, and sterols also support blood flow and help limit cholesterol accumulation in the arteries.

Olive leaves (Olea europaea): Traditionally used to support arterial flexibility, olive leaves are known for their richness in oleuropein. They help dilate arteries, maintain their flexibility, and prevent their hardening — a particularly valuable support for daily cardiovascular comfort.

Lemon balm leaves (Melissa officinalis): An ultimate calming plant, lemon balm gently acts on the nervous system to reduce the impact of stress on the body. It contributes to relaxation and promotes better sleep — particularly useful when nervous tension affects cardiovascular balance. It also softens the taste of the infusion, making it pleasant to consume daily.

Blackcurrant leaves (Ribes nigrum): Known for its mild diuretic properties, blackcurrant helps the kidneys eliminate excess fluid, naturally contributing to reduced pressure in the arteries. Unlike conventional diuretics, it preserves the body's potassium reserves — an essential mineral for sodium/potassium balance. It also acts as a mild anti-inflammatory.

Hawthorn for the heart, olive for the arteries, blackcurrant for the kidneys, and lemon balm for stress — four plants carefully chosen for a natural, complete, and targeted action on cardiovascular comfort.

    Plants from passionate small producers

We primarily work with small Polish producers committed to agriculture that respects plants and the environment.

Most of our plants are not organically certified, mainly because certification processes are often too expensive for small artisanal farms. However, this does not question the quality of their work or their cultivation methods.

Our producers favor natural and traditional practices, such as the use of plant-based preparations like nettle or comfrey instead of aggressive chemical treatments.

  • Preparation method

Pour 1 tablespoon of herbs into a cup of hot water. Let steep for 15 minutes, covered, then enjoy hot or warm as desired.

Drink 1 cup in the morning and 1 cup in the afternoon. 3-month course, then continue for maintenance 5 days a week.

    Recommended uses

In traditional herbal medicine, plants are used in the form of treatments to gently support the body over time.

For this herbal tea, it is recommended to drink 1 cup in the morning and 1 cup in the afternoon, as a 3-month treatment. Afterwards, you can continue with a maintenance dose 5 days a week.

A 50g sachet corresponds to approximately 10 days of use, at a rate of 2 cups per day (1 tablespoon per cup). For a complete 3-month treatment, plan for approximately 9 to 10 sachets, depending on your consumption.

  • Precautions for use

These plants are to be used in conjunction with a balanced diet and do not replace prescribed medical treatment.

    • Hawthorn: caution if taking heart or blood pressure medication
    • Olive: to be avoided in cases of significant hypotension
    • Blackcurrant: use with caution if taking diuretics, or in cases of kidney failure or edema of cardiac or renal origin
    • Lemon balm: may potentiate the effect of strong sedatives
    • Not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women
    • If undergoing cardiovascular medical treatment, consult your doctor or pharmacist before any course of treatment
    • In case of allergy to any component, do not consume
    • Store in a cool, dry, and well-sealed place, away from light, out of reach of children

The information presented is based on the traditional uses of plants in herbal medicine and does not constitute medical advice.
